SIPP
Stable IT Platform Program (SIPP) is a program offered by Intel that provides a stable and predictable platform for business customers who require long-term stability and reliability in their computing infrastructure. SIPP is designed to help IT departments better manage their computing environments by providing a consistent platform for up to 15 months, allowing for a predictable and stable transition to new technologies.
The program requires participating hardware manufacturers to commit to offering a minimum of 15 months of product availability from the program's launch date. SIPP also requires participating OEMs to provide advance notice of any changes to the hardware platform, giving IT departments time to plan for and manage transitions to new hardware.
SIPP is particularly useful for businesses that require a high degree of stability and reliability in their computing infrastructure, such as financial institutions, healthcare providers, and government agencies. By providing a predictable and stable platform, SIPP helps these organizations manage their IT resources more effectively, reduce downtime, and improve overall productivity.
